Emirates gets #BackInTheGame at Roland-Garros 2020
The clay courts are back in action and Emirates is back in the game at Roland-Garros 2020 as the Official Airline and Premium Partner of the Paris tournament. With the resumption of its daily flights to Paris and the return of the iconic A380 to French skies, Emirates is committed to offer customers in France the best experiences in flight and on the ground.

As the Official Airline of Roland-Garros, Emirates has been a long-standing partner of the French Open since 2013 and has become a Premium Partner of the Grand Slam in 2017 . As part of the five-year agreement, Emirates enjoys a significant presence on Philippe-Chatrier centre court, Suzanne-Lenglen court and Simonne-Mathieu court.
Paris was one of the very first destinations to which Emirates has resumed passenger operations to back in May. The airline now operates two daily services to Paris with the B777-300 and the iconic A380, becoming the only airline to operate the double-decker in the French skies.
Emirates currently serves more than 90 destinations worldwide, having restored more than 50 percent of its pre-pandemic destination network. As borders continue to open up, the airline is committed to ensuring that customers travel safely and confidently, deploying industry-leading health and safety measures at every step of the travel journey.
Customers flying in and out of Paris can safely connect to Dubai and to an array of onward connections to the Far East, Middle East and Africa. Customers can stop over or travel to Dubai as the city has re-opened for international business and leisure visitors. Ensuring the safety of travellers, visitors, and the community, COVID-19 PCR tests are mandatory for all inbound and transit passengers arriving to Dubai (and the UAE), including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from.
Destination Dubai: From sun-soaked beaches and heritage activities to world class hospitality and leisure facilities, Dubai is one of the most popular global destinations. In 2019, the city welcomed 16.7 million visitors and hosted over hundreds of global meetings and exhibitions, as well as sports and entertainment events. Dubai was one of the world’s first cities to obtain Safe Travels stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) – which endorses Dubai’s comprehensive and effective measures to ensure guest health and safety.
Flexibility and assurance: Emirates’ booking policies offer customers flexibility and confidence to plan their travel. Customers who purchase an Emirates ticket for travel on or before 31 March 2021, can enjoy generous rebooking terms and options, if they have to change their travel plans. Customers have options to change their travel dates, extend their ticket validity for 2 years, or convert their ticket into a travel voucher to use against any future flight-related purchase for themselves or their family and friends. COVID-19 PCR testing: Emirates customers who require a COVID-19 PCR test certificate prior to departure from Dubai, can avail of special rates at the American Hospital and their satellite clinics across Dubai by simply presenting their ticket or boarding pass. Free, global cover for COVID-19 related costs: Customers can now travel with confidence, as Emirates has committed to cover COVID-19 related medical expenses, free of cost, should they be diagnosed with COVID-19 during their travel while they are away from home. This cover is immediately effective for customers flying on Emirates until 31 December 2020, and is valid for 31 days from the moment they fly the first sector of their journey. This means Emirates customers can continue to benefit from the added assurance of this cover, even if they travel onwards to another city after arriving at their Emirates destination.
