PDO, Orpic and BP Oman to host and support the 11th Annual Asset Integrity Management Summit
Petroleum Development Oman, Orpic and BP Oman will host and support the 11th Annual Asset Integrity Management Summit that will take place from 6-9 March 2016 in Muscat, Oman. This year’s edition has been themed around maintaining asset integrity in a low $/barrel price environment by adopting a lean approach.
With the impact of oil price volatility being felt across the industry, oil and gas operators in the region are adapting their company strategy to optimise their assets. The summit researched and developed by Oil and Gas IQ – a division of global events company IQPC – will discuss strategies and solutions to ensure oil and operators have the necessary tools required to maximise the technical and operational performance of their assets.
“We are looking forward to the 11th edition of this event as it has been developed in conjunction with our advisory board of oil and gas operators in Oman, including PDO, Shell Development Oman, Orpic, BP Oman, OOCEP, Salalah Methanol, Occidental Oman and Daleel Petroleum. This year we’ve expanded the event to include more operator case studies than ever before and will be tackling AIM issues amidst low oil prices without compromising on asset integrity whilst also applying best practice frameworks,” stated Leila Masinaei Al Marzouqi, Managing Director, IQPC Middle East
Speakers at the summit include:
- Chris Breeze, General Manager and Country Chairman Oman, Shell Development Oman
- Raphael De Loenen, Chief Operation Officer, Orpic
