CCED walks the talk while focusing on Delivering Results in Oman
The Deputy Managing Director of CC Energy Development S.A.L. (CCED), David Wohlschlegel highlighted his company’s commitment to produce results at the Oman Ministry of Oil & Gas’ annual media briefing held in Muscat recently.
CCED is a privately owned Lebanese upstream oil and gas exploration and production company that, through its associated companies, has over 20 years of exploration, development, and production experience in the oil and gas industry both as an operating and non operating co-venture partner with major international oil companies.
The company’s average oil production in blocks 3 and 4 in Oman in 2015 was 32,600 bopd and the consistent increase has been maintained since 2011. The number of rigs has also increased from 2 in 2012 to 4 in 2015.
CCED is also committed to expanding its local workforce and currently employs around 700 Omani nationals with 75 per cent Omanisation. CCED achieved 71 per cent Omanisation within a year after Commercial Declaration and has recruited 204 Omanis in the year 2015 itself.
CCED’s CSR initiative forms an integral part of its corporate culture and underpins the emphasis of good “Corporate Citizenship” ensuring that the business values and behavior are aligned to create a balance between improving and further developing CCED’s business portfolio as well as improving the quality of lives of the workforce, their families, the local communities wherein it operates and societies at large.
