BREAKING: Oman To Shut All Commercial Activities In The Evening From March 4
Muscat: The Supreme Committee tasked with dealing with the Coronavirus has decided to suspend all commercial activities across all Governorates in the evening starting from Thursday, March 4.
The decision to suspend all commercial activities will come into effect from Thursday, March 4, and will last until the morning of Saturday, March 20. However, the closure will begin at 8:00 pm and last until 5:00 am in the morning.
This includes restaurants and cafes within tourist facilities, in addition to home delivery services. Gas stations, health institutions, and private pharmacies are excluded from the closure.
The committee also approved the continuation of students receiving education in public schools by means of distance learning during the period from Sunday, 7 March, to Thursday, 11 March, provided that during this period, this will be evaluated in accordance with the developments of the epidemiological situation in the Sultanate.
