New Chairman Elected for Volleyball Association

Muscat: The General Assembly of the Omani Volleyball Association (OVA) has elected Ibrahim Abdullah Al Muqbali as a Chairman for the Board of Directors of OVA for 2021/2024.
As many as 23 clubs participated in the elections, which were held at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.
Salem Mubarak Al Jabri was elected as deputy chairman, while Mohammed Eed Al Hashmi was elected as a secretary. Qais Hamid Hamdan A’saeed from Oman Club was acclimated as the treasury secretary.
Meanwhile, Sa’ada Said Al Azri who was acclimated to take the mandatory woman seat, while Eng. Khalid Mohammed Al-Araimi, Rasheed Salem Mubarak, Salem Said Al Balushi, and Issa Abdullah Al Balushi were elected as members of the board of directors.
The clubs that participated in the elections are Al Ittihad, Al Ittifaq, Al Bashaer, Al Khaboura, Al Salam, A’Suwaiq, A’Seeb, Al Orooba, Al Kamel, Al Wafi, Al Musanna, Al Nasr, Ahli Sidab, Bahla, Sohar, Salalah, Saham, Dhofar, Ibri, Oman Club, Quriyat, Majees, and Masirah.
