HM The Sultan Issues New Royal Decree Restructuring Council Of Ministers
His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued 12 Royal Decrees, which include the restructuring of the Council of Ministers and regulations to the administration of judicial affairs.
The new Royal Decree reforming the Council of Ministers states the following:
– Dr. Mohammad bin Saeed bin Khalfan Al Maamari will take charge as the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
– Dr. Hilal Al Sabti will take place as the Minister of Health.
– Eng. Salim Al Aufi will take charge as Minister of Energy and Minerals.
His Majesty the Sultan also issued other Royal Decrees which includes:
– A Royal Decree regulating the administration of judicial affairs.
– A Royal Decree issuing the governorates’ system.
– A Royal Decree defines the functions of the Ministry of Interior and approves its organisational structure.
– A Royal Decree transferring the jurisdiction of inventory and the valuation of properties from the Ministry of Interior to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.
– A Royal Decree appointing Sayyid Muhammad bin Sultan bin Hamoud Al Busaidi as the Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council, with the same rank and financial allocations.
– A Royal decree appointing governors.
– A Royal Decree amending some provisions of the Municipal Councils Law.
– A Royal Decree appointing Sheikh Ghosn bin Hilal bin Khalifa Al Alwi at a Ministerial rank as the head of the State’s Financial and Administrative Audit Institution (SAI).
– A Royal Decree appointing Issa bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Azri as the Secretary-General of the Supreme Judicial Council.
– A Royal Decree transferring Talal bin Sulaiman Al Rahbi to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the same rank and financial allocations.
