USA, China investment delegations to visit Oman on Monday
The Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (Ithraa) will receive on Monday investment delegations from the United States and China.
The Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development “Ithraa” on Monday will receive the investment delegations from USA and China on a several –day visit to the Sultanate to explore investment environment and learn about procedures of investment and incentives offered by the government to investors.
‘Ithraa’ has prepared a program that includes a visit to the free zones in Sohar and Salalah and the special economic zone in Duqm. The delegations would like to set up a factory for household items with 100 percent foreign investment.
‘Ithraa’ received last week an investment delegation from the People’s Republic of China led by Quan Zhezhu, Vice-Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce who were briefed on the services provided by ‘Ithraa’ in the areas of promotion to attract investment and development of Omani non-oil exports.
