The Sultanate of Oman is taking part in the Gastech 2026 Conference and Exhibition, held in the Thai capital, Bangkok, from 14 to 17 September 2026. The participation highlights Oman’s efforts to support the energy transition, reduce emissions and achieve the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

It also aims to strengthen integration across the energy ecosystem, in a manner that opens horizons for partnerships and high-value investments with international parties.

As part of this participation, Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, attended the ministerial session at the conference’s opening. The session discussed shifts in the global energy landscape under the theme “Resetting Energy: Who Holds Power in the New Global Order”.

The Omani delegation also includes OQ, OQ Exploration and Production, the Integrated Gas Company, OQ Gas Networks and Oman LNG. These companies are organizing Oman’s pavilion at the exhibition under the slogan “Energy from Oman”. The pavilion showcases Oman’s integrated, reliable and competitive energy ecosystem.

It also highlights the sector’s capabilities and its role in supporting energy security and industrial growth, in line with rapid changes in the global energy sector.

Oman’s pavilion at the exhibition presents projects, solutions and operational capabilities. These reflect the development of the national energy ecosystem and the advanced levels achieved in efficiency, reliability and sustainability. They also demonstrate the sector’s contribution to empowering the economy and enhancing local value.

The pavilion serves as a platform for direct engagement with international partners. It supports the exploration of new partnership and investment opportunities, and strengthens communication with existing and prospective clients. This helps consolidate Oman’s standing in the energy sector and supports its journey towards a more sustainable future.

The participation underscored that Oman’s presence at Gastech 2026 reflects the integration among the various components of the energy sector. It also embodies Oman’s ability to unify national expertise and capabilities to deliver an integrated ecosystem that meets market needs and keeps pace with global energy developments.
