Oman Air Launches Winter Schedule with Additional Frequencies, Expanded Capacity & New Codeshare Destinations
Oman Air’s Winter 2026/27 schedule is kicking off this month with the introduction of additional frequencies and increased capacity across its global network. Commencing 25 October 2026, the winter programme includes significant expansion across the GCC, Europe, Russia and Far-East, as well as an expanding portfolio of codeshare partnerships.
Europe features prominently in Oman Air’s winter schedule. Capacity to Zurich will triple compared to the summer season, supported by the deployment of widebody aircraft on up to five weekly services. Frequencies to Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Milan and Istanbul will also increase to as many as five flights per week, while Moscow will grow from four weekly services during summer to up to eight flights per week throughout the winter schedule. Combined with Oman Air’s 11-city European network, the expanded schedule offers guests greater flexibility and connectivity to some of the continent’s most sought-after winter destinations, while creating more opportunities to attract visitors to Oman.
The season also marks the first full winter programme for several destinations introduced earlier this year as part of the airline’s network expansion strategy. Services to Singapore will operate four times weekly, while Tashkent will continue with twice-weekly flights and Sochi with a weekly service, providing guests with an even broader range of travel options across Asia and beyond.
To meet strong demand on high-performing routes, Oman Air will also introduce select widebody services on flights to Mumbai and Dhaka once per week, increasing capacity and offering guests the enhanced comfort of the airline’s B787 fleet.
Continuing to prioritise domestic connectivity, the airline will increase its services between Muscat and Khasab to up to four weekly flights, while flights between Muscat and Salalah will operate up to five times daily throughout the winter season.
Oman Air’s winter schedule is further complemented by a growing codeshare network. Through expanded agreements with Lufthansa and SWISS, guests can connect via Frankfurt to Edinburgh, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Bergen, Billund; via Munich to Edinburgh and Wrocław; and Zurich to Gothenburg and Oslo.
A milestone expansion of the airline’s existing codeshare partnership with Malaysia Airlines has also opened up new travel opportunities across Greater China with the addition of Shanghai, Beijing Daxing and Guangzhou. Members of both airlines’ loyalty programmes will also benefit from seamless oneworld recognition, enjoying tier privileges and service benefits throughout their journey.
