Demonstrating the significance of strategic partnerships in empowering vulnerable segments of society and fostering inclusive socio-economic development, National Finance, the Sultanate of Oman’s leading finance and leasing company, has renewed its longstanding partnership with Dar Al Atta’a Association.

Through this collaboration, the company will support the second edition of the beekeeping and honey production courses under Dar Al Atta’a’s Tamkeen program, offering 45 Omani women from underprivileged families, practical training and hands-on learning experiences in beekeeping, honey production and the creation of natural beauty products using harvested honey.

The partnership was formalized by Mr. Saam Abdullah Al Habsi, Chief Operations Officer at National Finance and Honorable Maryam Issa Al Zadjali, Chairperson and Founder of Dar Al Atta’a, in the midst of representatives from both institutions.

Building on the impact of the previous edition, the program seeks to strengthen participants’ capabilities in beekeeping and cultivation, opening pathways towards self-employment and small-scale entrepreneurial ventures. By providing women with specialized knowledge and practical training, the initiative aims to help them translate their newly acquired skills into viable economic opportunities, supporting greater financial independence while contributing to the development of productive, community-led enterprises.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Tariq Sulaiman Al Farsi, Chief Executive Officer of National Finance, said, “Empowering women from underprivileged backgrounds is about more than creating opportunities; it is about unlocking potential, instilling confidence and enabling them to shape a more secure future for themselves and their families. Through our renewed partnership with Dar Al Atta’a, we are building on the achievements of the first edition of the ‘Tamkeen’ program to extend meaningful opportunities to more Omani women. Our commitment remains rooted in supporting initiatives that deliver lasting impact, transforming empowerment into tangible opportunities for self-reliance and a more secure future for individuals and families.”

Implemented under National Finance’s Imtidad social responsibility arm, this initiative forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to address community needs through targeted social investment. By supporting initiatives across areas such as education, empowerment and environmental stewardship, Imtidad provides a structured platform for translating the company’s social responsibility priorities into action.

National Finance’s enduring partnership with Dar Al Atta’a reflects its commitment to responsible corporate citizenship and its belief in the role of the private sector in advancing the nation’s socio-economic progress. Through purposeful collaboration, the company continues to demonstrate how corporate responsibility can translate into real-world change and growth, setting a benchmark for meaningful private-sector contribution to the Sultanate of Oman’s continued advancement.
