GALLERY: HM The Sultan Inaugurates New Headquarters of Internal Security Service in Dhofar

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, graced today the inauguration of the New Headquarters of the Internal Security Service in the Governorate of Dhofar.

Upon the arrival of His Majesty the Sultan’s motorcade, he was received by Lt. Gen Said bin Hilal Al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service, and a number of the Service’s senior officers. His Majesty the Sultan then graciously unveiled the commemorative plaque, marking the official inauguration of the Service’s headquarters.

Thereafter, His Majesty the Sultan toured the new headquarters, inspecting its facilities and capabilities, and was briefed on the most significant national duties and responsibilities entrusted to it in consolidating the foundations of security and stability. He also commended the ongoing efforts in modernisation, development and keeping pace with emerging challenges across all areas of security work.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Majesty the Sultan graciously posed for commemorative photographs with a number of the Service’s personnel, in lasting memory of this noble occasion.
